Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Frederick Memorial Scholarship

Kayden Vance was announced as the winner of the 2026 Mr. and Mrs. David Arthur Frederick Memorial Scholarship at the annual Senior Awards Night at Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School.

The scholarship is for $8,000, payable $2,000 per year. The scholarship was established by The Frederick Community Bank to honor the memory of Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Frederick.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick were involved in banking in both Paxton and Cissna Park. In addition, Mrs. Frederick was a school teacher at the Rankin and Paxton high schools.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, Vances name will be engraved on a plaque at The Frederick Community Bank along with the names of the prior scholarship winners. ... See MoreSee Less
